Tour the “Mini Grid on Wheels" Lab
Hosted Energy IoT Open Source & by Port Labs

Step inside the future of community-powered energy! Join us for a two-hour guided tour of the first Open Source Energy Lab, launched during SF Climate Week at the Open Source Energy Hackathon.

This hands-on lab is a working showcase of cutting-edge, decentralized energy technology designed for resilience, equity, and open collaboration. During the tour, you’ll get a close-up look at:

  • Sol-Ark: Hybrid inverter built for flexible integration

  • Discover Energy Systems: Lithium battery storage for reliable energy access

  • Ampra Grid’s MECHA: Portable storage rack for rapid deployment

  • Gismo Power’s MEGA: Solar carport on wheels for mobile generation

  • NESL.energy & IEEE Smart Village: Smart metering and leakage detection via Street Pole EMS

  • Energy IoT Open Source  MeshEMS: How to manage your local microgrid and integrate with larger ecosystems, for example, joining a Demand Response program via OpenADR.

This tour also marks the first step in becoming part of our movement. Whether you're interested in volunteering, mentoring, receiving mentorship, partnering with us, or becoming a customer—this is where it all begins.
