​Edna Conway, Panelist

​Edna Conway is a respected leader in corporate cybersecurity and risk management, having recently served as the Chief Security Officer for Microsoft Azure. In this role, she was responsible for the security and compliance of Microsoft's vast cloud computing platform. Before her time at Microsoft, Conway was the Chief Security Officer for Cisco's Global Value Chain, where she was responsible for the security of the company's supply chain. She is a recognized expert in building secure and resilient systems at a global scale and has been a vocal advocate for integrating security into every phase of the technology lifecycle. Her experience offers a crucial corporate perspective on managing cyber risk in a complex and interconnected world.

​Michael Schiffman, Panelist

​Michael Schiffman is a significant figure from the early days of the internet and the hacking subculture, best known for his role as the former Editor & Chief of Phrack Magazine. Phrack was an influential underground e-zine that published technical information on hacking, computer security, and phreaking. Under Schiffman's leadership, Phrack became a central hub for the burgeoning hacker community, disseminating knowledge and fostering a unique intellectual and counter-cultural environment. His experience provides a historical perspective on the evolution of hacking from a subculture to a critical element of modern warfare and espionage.

​Rob Joyce, Panelist

​Rob Joyce is a former high-ranking official at the National Security Agency (NSA), where he held several critical leadership positions. Most notably, he served as the Director of the NSA's Tailored Access Operations (TAO), the agency's elite hacking division responsible for gathering foreign intelligence. Joyce also served as a special assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator on the National Security Council, providing strategic guidance on cyber defense and offense to the White House. His extensive career at the NSA has given him a unique and deep understanding of the global cyber landscape, from nation-state threats to the development of sophisticated cyber weapons.

​Rob Knake, Panelist

​Rob Knake is a distinguished author and cyber policy expert who has served in various senior government roles. He is the co-author of the influential books "Cyber War: The Next Threat to National Security and What to Do About It" and "The Fifth Domain: Defending Our Country, Our Companies, and Ourselves in the Age of Cyber Threats." Knake has served as a director for cybersecurity policy at the National Security Council in the Obama administration, where he played a key role in developing and implementing the nation's cybersecurity strategy. He is currently a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and advises public and private sector organizations on navigating the complex challenges of cybersecurity.

​Terry Rankhorn, Panelist

​Terry Rankhorn is a veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with a pioneering career in undercover operations targeting hacking groups. He was one of the first FBI agents to go undercover within the burgeoning hacker communities, gaining firsthand insight into their methods, motivations, and culture. His work was crucial in developing the FBI's understanding of and ability to investigate cybercrime. After his career in the FBI, Rankhorn has continued to leverage his expertise in security and risk management, providing training and consulting services to both public and private sector entities on how to mitigate insider threats and combat sophisticated cyber-attacks.
