Harvard Style Case Discussion on NVIDIA
Join other product & engineering leaders for a lively discussion on NVIDIA. We'll use this case as a way to learn and dive deep into the evolution of AI and the current state of the AI ecosystem. The event will be moderated by Cy Khormaee. AI Faculty at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
What to Expect:
After a short introduction to the case format we'll dive in - spending ~40 minutes discussing the case followed by a quick 10 minute case wrap up section. Case discussions are open ended dialogs between participants guided by the facilitator. The intent is to bring a broad array of perspectives to the same set of facts to better understand the scenario as well as the perspectives of participants. Case discussions follow a few guiding principles:
Real-World Context: Cases are based on actual events or realistic scenarios, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
Participant-Centered Discussion: The focus is on participant-led discussions, where learners debate, defend, and refine their ideas through interaction with peers.
Role-Playing: Participants often take on the roles of decision-makers, such as business executives or legal advisors, to understand different perspectives and implications of their decisions.
No Single Right Answer: The case method encourages multiple viewpoints and solutions, reflecting the complexity and ambiguity of real-world problems.
Facilitator's Role: Guide the discussion rather than lecturing, helping participant students explore the case and draw their own conclusions.
