《Building Islands from Sand: The Taiwanese Experience of Plural Democracy - How to Advance into the web3 Era?》

Describing the Plurality Multiverse of Collaborative Technology and the Democratic Future has arrived on the enchanting ocean of Formosa Island ⛰️

The Taiwan experience is omnipresent in daily life - from the pharmacy mask map during the pandemic, taking the Taiwan High-Speed Rail for holiday travel, concepts of environmental IoT, smart city projects, to the collaborative Markdown notebook HackMD. All of these are manifestations of "digital democracy." We repeatedly showcase the genesis governance structure of "democracy, technology, and collaboration," demonstrating through digital technology the inclusion of diverse voices from the community, achieving substantial and meaningful diversity and integration, and creating collaborative consensus. This is the essence of Plurality.

We need your voice.

The Plurality Book, co-authored by Audrey Tang, Glen Weyl, and the Plurality community, is using Gov4Git technology on Github. It's an open invitation for anyone to participate in perfecting the first-ever open-source, collaboratively written book. Participants, as part of the Plurality community, will have their names forever preserved within the pages of this book!

Share your diverse collaboration experiences with us.

On January 19 (Saturday), Vitalik Buterin, Glen Weyl and Puja Ohlhaver will come together for an in-depth conversation with the community. Do you have unique insights and experiences in collaborative efforts? Be the first to share them with us through the form, and you may have the opportunity to be invited to our Plurality Salon for a Lightning Talk, engaging in profound discussions with professionals from industry, government, and academia!
