Afrikanoiid:
Afrikanoiid, alias of Francesca Chandi Devi (they/them), is a Maui based DJ originating from Denver, CO. They appreciate a wide range of music as a result of growing up in a musical hotbed, live music as their lifeblood. However they feel most liberated and inspired by Amapiano and Afro music. They aim to remind their audience that the word “Africa” translates to “birthplace” and that we are one race, with variation only due to migration and mutation. Their intention is to uplift and celebrate the sound waves of the place of origin of our shared human ancestry. Africa is the birthplace of the human race and the human race is Afrikanoiid.

Embodiment Ritual with Alindrina
To align the heart, soma, and soul with the field of aliveness and sacred play. An elemental journey beginning with breath that will guide the field open, expand sensory perception, and prime the body for an ecstatic unfolding in our shared movement experience.
Ecstatic Dance Agreements on the Dancefloor
1) Be Yourself - Your most authentic version of you, truly true, uninhibited and not subdued. Specifically, do not bring alcohol onto the property.
2) No Talking- If you "must" use words, please do so away from other dancers.
3) Move However You Wish - Radical self-acceptance and the practice of accepting others Without judgement
4) Respect the Space - Please refrain from taking photos or videos, nor wearing shoes or synthetic scents.
5) Cell Phone Free Area - Turn your device off if can.
6) Enjoy your Journey - May it be Medicinal
When approaching others:
- Respect the Solo Dancers' Right to their own Space
- Continuously Listen for the Yes (are they coming closer?)
- Respect any No (are they ignoring you?)
- Hands in prayer at heart means a no or an ending; "I see you, and no thank you"

Māla o ka Pono is carefully navigating what it takes to host an authentic dance experience and also welcome community togetherness. Because there will be families, food, and fun besides dancing, we want to encourage everyone to Do Their Best in keeping the dance sacred and the vibes positive.
Pre-order your tickets and car passes, as we only have a limited quantity available. Your ticket purchase directly supports our sustainable organic farm. We are immensely grateful to tend this aina and grow this community event space with you!
Please plan to carpool with friends so you can arrive early and give yourself ample time to explore our orchards and gardens. We will have our favorite local vendors and our farm to table kitchen and drink bar set up so you can picnic in paradise. As always, fresh and filtered drinking water is available, and we prefer you to bring your own vessel.
This event is All Ages and we encourage families to show up in creative expression– costumes, facepaint, flow toys, and props are all welcome. Parents, please make sure to have eyes on your keiki during the dance (for sound quality and ear protection, we advise children must be 10-20 feet away from speakers at all times), and do not bring any pets to the land.
You will receive the location and direction to our farm in Ha’iku, Maui, in your confirmation email. Please do not follow the address in the Map attached to this website or the confirmation email as it is not correct. Correct directions will be provided in the confirmation email, please read it.
There is no alcohol allowed on this property and you will be turned away and asked to leave if you are intoxicated.
