Isometric MRV Workshop: Measuring CDR & Creating Frameworks For Scale
This two-day workshop—hosted by Isometric during London Climate Action Week—will explore the future of measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) in carbon dioxide removal (CDR).
The aim
All CDR pathways share one fundamental challenge: how to best apply MRV practices to increase high-quality supply, generate greater demand and scale the carbon removal industry.
With participants from across CDR, the workshop will focus on identifying scientific best practices in MRV and building consensus among buyers, suppliers and scientists on the future of MRV frameworks.
The format
Held across two days, this workshop holds a unique spot between a purely scientific meeting and a more commercial conference.
While speakers from across industry, policy and the scientific community will be featured across the two days, the focus of the event will be dedicated to workshopping the most pressing problems to advance MRV. Discussion topics will include:
Dealing with uncertainty in MRV;
Preparing suppliers for scale; and
Fostering public-private collaboration.
