In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into the various types of content essential for a strong and engaging LinkedIn presence, including thought leadership posts, industry insights and personal stories.

Learn how to create a mix of content that amplifies your expertise, fosters meaningful interactions and grows your network! We'll discuss the algorithm, explore best practices for timing and frequency, and share insider tips on increasing reach. To hashtag, or not to hashtag? You'll find out in the session!

You'll spend time in the Lab crafting at least two different content pieces, and leave with the confidence and momentum to dedicate regular time to your LinkedIn posts!

Michelle Newell, Brand & Story Activator

Michelle Newell is an expert in storytelling, brand identity, and change leadership at The Storytelling Business. Over two decades, she has navigated roles such as teacher, recruitment consultant, e-Learning designer, urban design communications manager, education marketing manager and festival curator; shaping her unique approach to empowering professionals. Michelle runs storytelling and personal brand workshops for the tertiary and professional sectors, writes futures scenarios for change programs, and works one-on-one with thought leaders to design their brand ID and comms strategy.

Dr Fiona Scotney, Director and Facilitator

Dr Fiona Scotney is the Director of the Tuckwell Scholarship Program at ANU and an Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) Board Director. She has over 20 years of experience in education and capability development in the private and public sectors. Fiona advocates for access to education for underrepresented groups, closing the gender pay gap, and removing barriers to workforce participation. She enjoys facilitating workshops for the tertiary sector through Scotney Creative Solutions, hosts the Tuckwell Talks podcast for ANU, is a confident writer and speaker, and an avid user of LinkedIn.
