Weißensee Audiowalk: Wasteland?

​Dear all, here’s a warm invitation to join me on a walk through ‚empty spaces‘ of Weißensee on Sunday, June 29, from 14:00. We will follow the route of my audiowalk BRACHLAND/Wasteland (always available online if can’t join this walk!) and discover stories of different people from the Kiez who transformed the so-called urban wastelands into their very own “playgrounds”. We finish at the community garden and stay there for a short exchange.

Here's our plan:
→ 13:45 – Meeting point: Brotfabrik inner garden (Caligariplatz 1, 13086). Feel free to join and leave at any time.
​→ From 16:00, you can also join a borsch social gathering hosted by my dear friend Alina Beriakova, Borsch Sekt (donation-based - she collects money for a cat shelter in Kyiv).

​​→ Participation free of charge, donations welcome. The walk will be conducted in English. Please bring headphones, water and snacks.

​​The total route is approximately 2.5 km. It’s possible to use a bicycle or tram between stops. Most stops have uneven unpaved ground. The walk is kids-friendly. Unfortunately, no pets allowed at the final destination (community garden).
