​Laurie Stone is author of six books, most recently "Streaming Now, Postcards from the Thing that is Happening." She writes the Substack "Everything is Personal.” She has taught at Hunter College and Queens College, and spent many years as a journalist at The Village Voice, the theater critic for The Nation, and critic-at-large on NPR's Fresh Air.
