​Hiya!

​Thanks for signing up for our conversation today. It was a blast to share some of my thoughts on building an ethical business!

​I started by sharing a little bit about the difference between commerce and capitalism and some of the historical roots of capitalism as it pertains to business. I could have spent many hours talking about this piece alone!

​We also explored why we might want to do this work and what happens if we don't get it right. It's likely we all make missteps in our work from time to time, even if we do the work--that is part of the work. But I mean causing harm without being accountable and transparent. When we're only focused on profits we'll resort to hierarchy and exploitation.

​Then we dived into the 3 part framework I use with all of my private clients to build their bespoke businesses and strategy for building an ethical business.

​I will be keeping that folder up until Monday because I will be doing an encore presentation.

​Finally, we talked a bit about my upcoming course, Sowing Post Capitalist Seeds for Business — it's a 14 week course diving into building and ethical and sustainable business.

​And I gave everyone a chance to 30 minutes of my time. This is a conversation where I listen to where you are in the journey in building a more ethical and equitable business and reflect back what I see. It's not a pick your brain session or a sales call. You can book that in right here.
