Welcome Keynote Speaker - Dr. Joanna Thomas, Vice President Clinical Strategy and Innovation

Dr. Joanna Thomas is a board-certified family physician. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Liverpool and has worked at some of the biggest hospitals in the British National Health Service.

After relocating to Northwest Arkansas, Joanna completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Fayetteville. She was an associate professor and had a clinical career at UAMSNW and was on staff at two local hospitals.

Since joining Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, Joanna has held various clinical positions. Currently, she is vice president of clinical strategy and innovation and serves as a clinical advisor to several VC funds.
