About Event

Join us in SF on Monday 4/15 for a Wiki x AI Hackathon, hosted by Gray Area.

Etherpad for pitches: https://bit.ly/wxai

This is part of Public Goods Lab Week, focused on funding the commons and supporting collaborative public goods.

Brainstorm and develop AI tools on Wikipedia and other wikis, used for drafting, curating, summarizing and illustrating articles, and tools for generating books, media, and physical object. Learn about how to work with Wikidata and Wikipedia APIs in your tools. Make hyperstitions tangible with simulated internets and ecosystems.

There will be prizes for the best concepts, implementations, and illustrations or tutorials, for both new and existing** tools.

This will be an unconference — attendees will give lightning talks at the start of the day about what they're planning to work on.

To submit an existing tool for consideration, run a tutorials on using a relevant interface or library, or otherwise help shape the day, drop us a line.

Come out to the Grand Theater and join us!
