Bom Dia to Bonfire: Toronto Night with ND Connect
Purpose
To expand our community building efforts and help facilitate place-based, genuine connections for ND Connect members around Toronto
How to Join
To enable authentic connections and meaningful conversations, we're limiting this event to 8 spots. Event spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis so RSVP soon if you'd like to make it.
The Plan
We’ll meet at 5:30 and get snacks at Bom Dia Café & Bakery on Queen (why? Jacob mentioned going to Portugal once and loving these tarts but having a hard time finding good ones since his return to America. Since he’s in Toronto and we have one of the best food scenes imo, I’m on a mission to find some good ones so we'll embark on a little side quest here).
"Bom Dia offers a premium coffee with high quality bakery, embracing Portuguese traditions. Our mission is to deliver coffee and food that tastes amazing, so you can start the morning right with a smile!"
Then we’ll be off to Stackt market where we can walk around and check out what’s going on at their Spring Equinox Event. Two notable things happening there this Saturday:
Free art gallery: https://stacktmarket.com/event/spring-equinox-new-ever-evolving/
Toronto market featuring LGBTQ+-owned small businesses: https://stacktmarket.com/event/toronto-queer-market-spring-equinox-edition/
After Stackt market, we'll probably be hungry so we'll go to FreshSlice Pizza (ND Connect will treat!).
Then around dusk we’ll head over to Trillium Park at Ontario Place, and check out Lumière: The Art of Light, a free outdoor light exhibition with imaginative art installations from 14 Ontario-based artists. We’ll end the night chatting around a cozy bonfire at the park before parting ways and heading home for the night.
