About Event

A Non-residential In-Person and Online Retreat With Brock Brown and Margo McLoughlin

Description

Community Dharma Leaders Brock Brown and Margo McLoughlin will lead a two-day retreat at Goward House on May 21 and 22. Participants are welcome to attend either day or both. Brock will lead the retreat on Saturday and Margo on Sunday. The shared theme for the weekend is cultivating our inner resources to meet the uncertainty of the times we are living in. By consciously nurturing each of the four Brahma Viharas (unconditional friendliness, compassion, joy, and equanimity) we build our resilience and our capacity to meet the challenges we face, both personally and as a community and society. Each day will include sitting and walking meditation, chanting, reflections, and a Dharma talk.
