​Join us for an exclusive screening of "Join or Die," a powerful new documentary about why you should join a club—and why the fate of America depends on it. The documentary highlights decline of community in America, the loneliness epidemic, and the role of third spaces inspired by Robert Putnam’s legendary book "Bowling Alone" (more here).

​The film is yet to be widely released and Build IRL is hosting a special screening in SF on Sat Jun 22 (4.30 pm), followed by a panel and community discussion. All proceeds from the ticket sale will go to the documentary team.

Flanked by influential fans and scholars — from Hillary Clinton, Pete Buttigieg, and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy to Eddie Glaude Jr., Raj Chetty, and Priya Parker — as well as inspiring groups building community in neighborhoods across the country, join Bob as he explores three urgent civic questions: What makes democracy work? Why is American democracy in crisis? And, most importantly… What can we do about it?
