Moderator:

Chitra Nawbatt is an investor and strategic advisor to several venture capital and private equity backed portfolio companies in the areas of consumer, enterprise, fintech, healthcare, media. Chitra’s unique multi-industry and multidisciplinary expertise powers her work as an investor and business builder, with a track record as a value creation and growth leader. She also is the co-creator/producer and host of The HLTH Daily Show where she interviews C-level leaders, entrepreneurs and investors on growth, innovation, business building and investing.

Panelists:

Abby Lyall is Chief of Staff at Lyonshare, a strategic business building and fundraising agency for startups and funds, where she helps founders and fund managers in AI and other tech sectors raise capital. Previously, Abby was a VC at Tribeca Venture Partners, where she invested in Series A and growth-stage companies across AI, enterprise SaaS, and other verticals. Abby started her career as an early employee at two different accelerator funds, Quake Capital and Big Idea Ventures, where she had the "day zero" experience of building funds from the ground up and getting her hands dirty working with very early stage founders. She holds a degree in Finance and Computer Science from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Dr. Maria Blekher is an investor in the mental and neuro tech space, an entrepreneur, a growth strategist, and a behavioral scientist with a robust background in consumer behavior and market strategies. Her resume includes positions on the boards of startups and VCs, and she was the founding director of the YU Innovation Lab in the heart of NYC's tech ecosystem. 

Dr. Blekher's expertise lies in bridging market entry gaps for startups, developing and aligning go-to-market strategies with deep consumer behavior insights, and cultivating strategic partnerships. Driven by a mission to impact and enhance the human experience through technological innovation, she and her partner, Avi Yaron, are launching Serendipity Impact VC, focusing on investing in early-stage, disruptive neuro and mental health startups. Dr. Blekher holds a PhD from Ben Gurion University and was a visiting scholar at NYU Stern School of Business.

Roslyn Jin is a partner at Antler, a global early stage venture capital fund, where she invests in technology startups across all sectors and oversees the U.S. Platform and Founder Residency. She also serves on the People & Culture and DEI advisory committees. Prior to Antler, she helped launch the enterprise segment at WeWork while partnering with Fortune 500 financial services firms, after spending time in cross-asset derivatives at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and U.S.-China trade policy at the Executive Office of the President. Roslyn holds a BA in international relations and applied economics and management from Cornell University and MBA from NYU Stern.

Alex is an Associate on the investing team, helping source, evaluate, make and manage deep tech investments, both in Boston and in NYC.

Previously, Alex was a software engineer at Apple and founded an AI legal tech company. Alex graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Computer Science and sits on the Board of Directors of the MIT Club of New York.
