Triple Bubble, Oceania’s first fit-for-purpose fintech fund, invites you to an exclusive evening of curated conversation, drinks, and canapés with leaders shaping the future of private investment in Australia.

Please join us for an intimate gathering of industry peers, hosted by PWC, as we explore the evolving Australian investing landscape alongside the partners of Triple Bubble, Australia’s first regionally focused, stage agnostic venture firm.

Speaker Biographies

Dom Pym (Co-founder, Investment Committee Chair)

Dom is an Australian entrepreneur and technologist who co-founded several businesses, including Up, Pin Payments, Ferocia, and most recently Triple Bubble.

Dom has been involved in software, web, and mobile development for over 25 years from startups to global enterprises in Australia, the UK, the USA, and throughout Asia. Amidst a growing neobank scene, Up first launched in Australia in October 2018, and has since been the #1 rated banking app and twice voted most trusted bank in Australia14, amassing over 1 million very happy customers as of December 2024.

Dom is a board member at Fintech Australia and served as an advisory board member for Ferocia and Up at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank from sale until August 2024. During 2022, Dom received coveted industry awards such as “Outstanding Fintech Leader of the Year”, “Fintech Leader of the Year”, and the Pause Award’s “C-Suite 2022”.

Dom is actively involved in his own family office, Euphemia, from which he mentors, advises, and invests in founders and startups globally, with 120 investments across venture funds, startups, property, and public markets as of December 2024.

Brian Collins (Co-founder, Investment Committee Member)

Brian Collins is a fund manager and fintech founder helping early-stage tech startups scale since 2011. He started in mobile applications before moving to general technology and entering the fintech industry in 2014.

He has worked on innovation strategies with Fortune 500 companies, including Mastercard, UBS, and IBM. He has mentored and invested in US, Australian, and worldwide startups. His angel portfolio, which currently includes around 20 startups, had early successes such as Wrappup, one of the world's first voice use of AI to auto-summarize meetings, being acquired by Voicera in 2018.

Brian was the co-founder of Silicon Valley-based Angelhack. Within four years, he had scaled the business into over 100 cities with 150,000+ developers in their global community. He also built and managed the HACKcelerator program, one of the world's first pre-accelerators, which accelerated nearly 120 early-stage ventures.

In 2019, he relocated to Melbourne and joined Startupbootcamp as their Fintech Partner. He set up their fintech fund in Australia, which invested in 27 global companies over three years before building a Sustainable Fintech Fund. He then oversaw all of AWS' fintech work across Oceania.

In 2020, Brian co-founded Sorgenfrey, an insurtech platform focused on home content insurance for renters. This experience showed him firsthand the issues facing founders of regulated products in Australia.

He is the Deputy Chair of Fintech Australia and the ANZ Advisor for Money 20/20, the world's largest fintech conference.

Judy Anderson-Firth (Co-founder, Investment Committee Member)

Judy is the Group CEO at Euphemia, the family office for Australian entrepreneur and technologist Dom Pym, as well as the co-founder of Oceania’s first fit-for-purpose fintech fund, Triple Bubble.

At Euphemia, Judy leads the Group's ~$80 million + global investment portfolio including private & public equities, venture capital, property portfolio and the Euphemia Foundation to support people in need. Focus areas include fintech, climate tech, women-led startups and startup infrastructure, with 60+ portfolio companies and 20+ funds. Alongside Dom Pym, she is the co-creator of the Euphemia syndicate, which has welcomed 200+ LPs since inception in July 2023, of which 22% are women investors.

Judy is a trusted, exceptionally well-connected and influential member of the Australian startup industry, having built the country’s largest startup community as former CEO of Startup Victoria (now known as The Startup Network) with 70,000+ people as of Dec 2024. Her advisory role in the Victorian State Government's Innovation Taskforce demonstrates her leadership and expertise in shaping policy and strategy.

She is Chair of the advisory board at LUNA (Australia’s leading startup studio) and a Non-Executive Director at Birchal, The Startup Network and Buildkite.
