Morry Kolman is an independent artist in New York City and will be the weirdness of QR codes.
Day Lane is a producer and multi-disciplinary artist from New York. She collects business cards, fire hydrants, and stories. She will be demoing The Hydrant Directory.
Jediah Katz is a software engineer and storyteller exploring how New Yorkers live and travel through subwaystories.nyc, an interactive visualization built with MTA Open Data. A finalist in the MTA's 2024 Open Data Challenge, the project was created in collaboration with Julia Han and Mark Zitelli. It has gained recognition for turning complex transit data and human stories into insights.
Octavio Figueroa is a creative technologist and musician focused on new interfaces for musical expression. He will be demoing a musical instrument made of a wall of LEDs that you play holding solar panels.
Bill Roberts is an independent technologist based in Brooklyn, NY. Demoing Loopy, an AI-powered podcast app for language learners
Yiliu Shen-Burke is an architecture school dropout who built one of the best spatial productivity apps for the Meta Quest. He's now working on a new desktop product that seeks to answer the question, "How should we create together with AI?"
Juan Figuera is a Director of Product at American Express Digital Labs, where he works on Membership and AI products. He will demo Roadwork, a tool that uses AI agents to streamline highway safety inspections.
