About The Speaker

Manny is the Managing Director of Endeavor Philippines, the third affiliate for Endeavor in Southeast Asia. He is concurrently the Director for People and Transformation for Endeavor Global and the Regional Managing Director for Endeavor in Asia.
Manny has a long-standing interest in helping entrepreneurs become more successful in business and in helping them develop their “give back” acumen. Prior to Endeavor, was a co-founder of IRG, a Hong Kong based M&A firm focused on early stage companies in the Telecoms, Media and Tech sectors across Asia. Manny co-founded and successfully exited Entertainment Gateway Group, a mobile content provider. He later founded Hatchd, a tech incubator in the Philippines that has built a portfolio of consumer tech companies that includes Rappler, an online news and data company and GrowSari, a platform focused on the micro retail sector in the Philippines. He is also a past president of the Philippine Chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (“EO”), where he launched the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards across Asia.
Prior to his foray into entrepreneurship, Manny spent several years in the television industry in Asia, working for Discovery Channel and Turner Broadcasting in Strategy, Creative and Business Development roles.
Manny sits on the Board of Directors of Rappler, Union Digital Bank, First Gen Corp and the University of Asia & the Pacific. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University.
