About Event

Join us as we welcome Mystique Hargrove (She/They) for Twerk Magic: Releasing Trauma Burdens that Block Our Pleasure on Thursday, May 6th from 7:00 to 9:00PM EST over Zoom!

This workshop will be recorded and will be made available for a limited time to everyone who registers.

In the Black community, sexual exploration and healing is taboo. We continue to carry "generational curses" that create blocks in our sexual freedom and pleasure. "Generational curses" is known to be the carried trauma Black bodies continue to experience, lacking in freeing one's holistic self from the heavy burdens of the past. This workshop is focused on dismantling traumatic attachments in sex and intimacy, and how to heal by manifesting the abundance of healing.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Learn how radically breaking colonized practices of sexual awareness, wellness, and exploration invites room for affirmative healing.

  • Be aware of at least three forms of decolonized healing techniques/practices that focus on the start to release one's trauma bond.
