About Event

Join us as we welcome Kait Scalisi (she/her) for Can You Meditate Your Way to Better Sex? A mindful intimacy workshop on Thursday, April 8th from 7:00 to 9:00PM EST over Zoom!

This workshop will be recorded and will be made available for a limited time to everyone who registers.

In a world full of traumatic and overwhelming stress, lack of sexual desire and a surplus of unmet sexual needs often becomes just one more problem—and typical sex advice often focuses on tricky new positions or shiny toys, failing to address the issues that truly make a difference, from struggles with self-esteem and body image to misogyny, racism, and fatphobia.

From the sexual gas pedal to the sexual brake, Can You Meditate Your Way to Better Sex? helps you uncover your desires, as well as what holds you back from saying OMGYes. Regardless of whether you have some ideas or feel totally lost, this workshop helps you figure out exactly what you need to have the intimate, exciting, and fulfilling sex life you crave—no matter your gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship status.

This event is open to people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship statuses. If you have desires, you're invited!

This workshop uses the science behind sexual arousal and desire (e.g. the sexual gas pedal and brake, the importance of context) to help participants uncover their desires, figure out what holds them back from saying yes to those desires, and identify what needs to happen in order to have more intimate, exciting, and fulfilling sex. Each participant leaves with a personalized action plan to start having more pleasure in their lives immediately.
