Resilience As Resistance
Our ability to resist oppressive structures is born out of the seeds of our resilience. Inner and communal work are vital ways to create stability as the eco/social climate around us changes rapidly. This event is dedicated to discussing climate mental health, narrative, food security, interspecies liberation, and cross-channel solidarity—sustaining our hope for solar punk futures.
3:45pm - Event opens with a grounding accessible yoga/mindfulness session with a short sound bath
4:15pm - Panel 1 on inner and communal strength. narrative, and climate mental health includes:

5pm - Panel 2 on interspecies & collective liberation, redefining value systems, intersectional veganism include:
Yvette Baker - director of activism at APEX Advocacy, total liberation activist
Unique Vance - ambassador for Collective Fashion Justice, total liberation activist
Brenna Cheyney - writer, ecocentric creative, co-founder of Sympoetic Ecofabulatory
This event will include light vegan refreshments.
Event location is the Shea Terrace right outside Loyola Marymount University's University Hall.
